incarceron - catherine fisher

Hello guys, sorry for the delay in posting new stuff, so today I bring you this spectacular post about a book I found in my back at Skoob. Meet Incarceron, by Catherine written book, and that will turn movie, produced by Fox 2000.

Incarceron is the first volume of the series written by Catherine Fisher. The book is set in a dystopian future where a young boy lives in Incarceron, a prison where they were locked up criminals, undesirables, political extremists and lunatics, along with 70 wise men to guide them. No one can leave or enter the prison was sealed and the Guardian of Incarceron only knows its location. Centuries after its creation, most prisoners do not believe in the existence of an external world. The plot is centered on Finn, a young boy who everyone thinks he was born inside the prison. However, he believes he has come out and is determined to find a means of escape. When you find a magic key, he comes in contact with Claudia, daughter of the keeper of the prison who lives in his own version of prison, a reality constructed beautifully to look like the past, where she was betrothed to the crown prince. Together, they plot an escape, not realizing that Incarceron is an enemy far more dangerous than he looks. In the U.S. the series already has the second book Sapphique released on December 28, 2010.

Synopsis: Incarceron -- a futuristic prison, sealed from view, where the descendants of the original prisoners live in a dark world torn by rivalry and savagery. It is a terrifying mix of high technology -- a living building which pervades the novel as an ever-watchful, ever-vengeful character, and a typical medieval torture chamber -- chains, great halls, dungeons. A young prisoner, Finn, has haunting visions of an earlier life, and cannot believe he was born here and has always been here. In the outer world, Claudia, daughter of the Warden of Incarceron, is trapped in her own form of prison -- a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like a past era, an imminent marriage she dreads. She knows nothing of Incarceron, except that it exists. But there comes a moment when Finn, inside Incarceron, and Claudia, outside, simultaneously find a device -- a crystal key, through which they can talk to each other. And so the plan for Finn's escape is born ...
