découpage floral bag

Honestly, there's nothing better than customize a simple bag with a floral print? However, you can create it, it will be satisfying to know that you have designed the bag in your way. For those unaware, decoupage is a very interesting technique and endless possibilities figures or cutouts that you apply on the object giving a wonderful finish and well done charms. Figures may be cut into various types of papers. The most used are imported from Italy and Australia. Some papers are being produced in Brazil. Although they have different texture of imported papers are widely used, especially those marketed by soliarte: Daiara and Déia & Fabi. At the end of the works are very beautiful. You can buy pre-cut figures, also imported. If you prefer, you can do with a floral fabric, which is easier to be found there in your city.
You will need:
  • A handbag
  • Cotton fabric with a large floral pattern
  • Painter’s tape
  • Mod Podge
  • Craft paint
  • 2 small plastic dishes
  • 2 brushes
  • Scissors
Start by covering any part you do not want to be painted with tape.
Put the paint in a small disposable container. Apply a coat of paint where you want and let it dry.
Wait the first layer dry completely. Apply two or even another layer until completely covered.
While the paint dries, carefully cut a bunch of fabric flowers.
Organize to put them in the bag. Cole flowers with fabric glue and let dry, apply another layer in the end.
Expect everything to dry and remove the tape. And your bag is ready floral. Simple and fast. Like this? So comment down there!
